ARUN AGARWAL - CEO
Arun is a former Wall Street investment banker at Prudential Securities who has primarily focused on healthcare and real estate initiatives. Arun began his own private equity firm in 2002, returning to Omaha, Nebraska to set up a home base for White Lotus Group. White Lotus Group, under the management of Arun, continues to facilitate projects within the real estate and healthcare markets. The team also completed a hotel acquisition and development in Winter Park, Colorado, in 2003; a hotel acquisition and renovation in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2011; and a variety of other projects including condominiums, self-storage facilities, office space, retail space, and multi-family housing. Arun is a graduate from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania of 1998, where he was awarded the Wharton Award for Academic Achievement. He serves on Metro Community College’s Foundation Board as well as the Library Foundation board, and he chairs the Greater Omaha YMCA board.
LYNN GORMAN - CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Lynn graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and began her accounting career in 2001 as part of a small Certified Public Accounting firm in Colorado Springs. After 5 years, she and her family relocated to Denver, where she worked her way up to the Director of Finance position for a technology start-up. In November 2015, Lynn joined the White Lotus team as the Financial Controller and managed the financial activity for our entire portfolio. Lynn is now White Lotus Group's CFO and still oversees all finance, but is also responsible for the company's commercial and residential property management, hospitality division, risk management and HR functions. Lynn’s passions include her family (husband, Jeff and two children, Olive and Miles), fitness, music and crocheting.
SCOTT HENRY - EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT
Scott earned a Professional Degree in Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and quickly started working with a number of firms developing commercial real estate. ln 2000, he joined JPMorgan’s Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investment group where he earned a CCIM designation and expertise in multi-family finance. Scott was promoted to Executive Director and was part of the Senior Management team that helped grow the line of business into a $4 billion portfolio with more than 800 properties accounting for 75,000 apartment units across the country.
In 2008, Scott formed Celadon Holdings, an affordable housing developer. Scott has been designated as a pre-qualified developer through the NSP program, the Cook County Housing Authority, and the Chicago Housing Authority, and has completed affordable housing redevelopments and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) syndications within and outside Illinois totaling over 1500 units.
As the EVP of Development at White Lotus Group, Scott is responsible for the identification, financing, and development of all of the firm's multifamily development activities.
Jay kline - Vice president of business development
Jay is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning his BA in International Studies with a concentration in International Business and Leadership. After graduation, for nearly a decade, Jay was a member of LEO A DALY’S business development team initially focusing on reinforcing the success of the company’s Federal Program. In 2011, he began overseeing the company’s business interests in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and after a successful three years overseas, Jay came home and became the Small Business Program Manager. Parallel to his time at the company, he co-founded ‘House of Loom’ - a place where the community could gather for music, art and educational events while promoting social progress.
Jay is now the vice president of business development at White Lotus Group and will maintain and manage the company’s relationships while identifying opportunities locally and regionally for the company to grow. Jay is an active SAME member and is currently the Young Members Chair for the Omaha Post Board. He also sits on both Benson High School’s Design Academy’s Advisory Board and UNO’s International Community Advisory Board. He has two children, Vesper and Arytin, with his wife Holly.
DELANEY NELSON - PUBLIC RELATIONS/MARKETING
Delaney joined the White Lotus team in November 2017. She began her marketing and public relations career at an advertising agency in Omaha, NE as an Account Manager. After her time there, she was a brand marketing specialist at Hayneedle where she established the brand both locally and nationally through key brand partnerships and strategic public relations efforts. She is a graduate of the University of South Dakota where she earned a B.A. in strategic communications with an emphasis in public relations and advertising. She was also a member of the women's swim team. Delaney is a marking committee member for the Greater Omaha Chamber’s YP Summit Council and a Big Sister mentor. She is married to Jay Nelson and they have two dogs together - Mylee and Maverick.
BRAD BROOKS - ARCHITECT
Brad is the Creative Director for White Lotus Group, wearing many hats within the company. Brad is responsible for coordinating the design team and all consultants. He provides vision for design and communicates the building image. Brad also works with the city on zoning and code requirements. Under the White Lotus Group family, Brad has directed the design of several award-winning projects ranging from striking corporate offices, extensive remodels, and innovative housing alternatives. Utilizing contests with unique and formative direction, he strives to offer a stimulating and open forum for architectural discourse in every project. Brad obtained a Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska with several Design Honor Awards in Masonry, Interior and Unbuilt concepts.
TRAVIS MANLEY - EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
As the White Lotus Group executive assistant, Travis plays a pivotal role in the success of White Lotus Group. He is responsible for storing, categorizing and maintaining all company databases, supporting the company executives with various tasks and providing company-wide technical support. Travis has a background in professional theatre, property management and education administration. At the age of 19 he founded a preschool and educator training firm that he remains on the board of to this day. He credits this achievement for providing him with extensive training in management, accounting, information technology and marketing/public relations. In his free time he travels the country giving trainings and workshops for education administrators and teachers at professional development conferences.
MICHAEL KOCH - FINANCIAL ANALYST
Michael started with White Lotus Group as an intern in the Summer of 2017 while in graduate school at Creighton University. He was recently hired on as the company’s financial analyst prior to earning his masters in investment management and financial analysis. Michael also attended undergrad at Creighton where he was a member of the men’s tennis team, and captain his senior year. His role at White Lotus Group includes researching investment opportunities and overseeing all marketable securities and private equity portfolios. An Omaha native, Michael enjoys watching sports, playing and teaching tennis and spending time with his fiancé, Allison and his three brothers.
KADIE SUBBERT - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Kadie graduated from Grand View University in Des Moines, IA where she was a member of the women's volleyball team. She started her accounting career right out of college and joined the White Lotus team in February 2017. Kadie provides valuable mathematical and analytical knowledge to the operation of our office as the Staff Accountant. She works on accounts payable, and alongside Lynn as she manages the company's financial activity every month. She is a big sports fan but roots especially loud for the Iowa Hawkeyes and Green Bay Packers.
MARC DESCISCIO - DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE
Marc has worked with White Lotus as Director of Maintenance since 2005. Marc specializes in Electrical and HVAC systems as well as managing and maintaining all building systems for the entire White Lotus Group portfolio. Marc resides in Omaha with his wife Kelly and their beloved dog Ruby.
CLINT FELDHACKER - CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Clint joined White Lotus Group in 2016. Previously, Clint established his own custom home building company beginning in 2000 giving him extensive experience in all aspects of the residential market. Clint is now moving forward and expanding into the commercial market. He has been in the construction business since 1993. Born and raised in Omaha, Clint is always looking for a new challenge.
BOB JOHNSON - PROJECT MANAGER
As a project manager at White Lotus Group, Bob brings over 35 years of experience building a wide variety of projects across the United States. Early in his career, he was part of the team that built the Sunshine Skyway bridge over Tampa Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida and the Washington State Trade and Convention Center in Seattle, WA. In 2014, he successfully completed a high-tech, design-build pharmaceutical grade chicken egg layer complex in Taneytown, Maryland for VALO Bio-Media, a German firm. His Midwest building resume includes schools, multi- family, residential, churches, automotive dealerships, healthcare facilities, historical renovations, civil and wastewater treatment plants, U.S. Army projects at Ft. Riley, Kansas and corporate agricultural buildings.
MICHAEL HOUSTON - PROJECT MANAGER
Mike joined the White Lotus Group team in June 2018 and brought over fifteen years of experience in the construction project management world with him. Mike grew up in Ralston, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a bachelor of science in construction management. After graduation he spent five years with an Atlanta-based construction firm focusing on the construction of corporate headquarters, tenant buildouts, and data centers. Mike decided it was time to come back home to Nebraska and spent the next seven years with a local non-profit managing the construction of their new HUD 811 multi-family housing projects, corporate office facilities management, and capital asset master planning for their nationwide housing portfolio. In Mike’s most current previous role, he worked on local restaurant remodels, a fortune 500’s corporate Omaha campus and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s relocation. Mike volunteers weekly at the Nebraska Humane Society and when he has free time, he can be found outdoors enjoying lake life.
JOSHUA JACKSON - ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Josh joined White Lotus Group in 2017 as the team’s Assistant Project Manager. He helps tackle all types of project, from multi-family to commercial construction, and is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management at the University of Nebraska – Omaha. His passion for construction developed as a teenager while working on his uncles’ rental properties and learning basic residential carpentry. That experience also helped to harvest his love analyzing current real estate market trends and the buying and selling of properties. In his free time Josh enjoys volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, going to the gym and doing side work for family, friends, and those in need of home renovations and remodeling.
LINDSAY HANNA - RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Lindsay joined White Lotus Group in 2012 as a leasing agent where she quickly worked her way up to property manager. After 3 years with the company, she explored a new opportunity as a property manager with a large management firm in Omaha. In April 2017, Lindsay earned her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM®) designation from the National Apartment Association. In November of 2017, Lindsay decided she missed the incredible team at White Lotus Group and jumped at the chance to come back. She is also now the Omaha Education Committee chair holder for the Apartment Association of Nebraska and she was also recently elected as a member of their board of directors. Lindsay enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time at home with her fiancé, John, and their Golden Retriever, Axl Rose.
BRENT WAX - COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGER
Brent joined White Lotus Group as the company Office Manager in 2017 bringing over ten years of real estate experience to the team, and quickly transitioned into his role as the commercial property manager. He studied business management at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and then became a leasing agent, earning a prestigious regional training position. Brent has managed thousands of apartments over the years, and prior to joining White Lotus Group he managed key investment properties for a local real estate brokerage firm. As the Commercial Property Manager he is responsible for day-to-day operations of all White Lotus Group commercial properties. In his spare time, Brent mentors GLBT youth and is working to complete his Real Estate License. He loves playing, cheering for and coaching volleyball, and enjoys spending time with family and his two dogs.
JUSTIN QUEAL - PUBLIC ARTIST/SCULPTOR
Omaha artist Justin Queal, has been a professional Artist since 1997, but officially joined the White Lotus Group team in 2012. Justin sources his work from his diverse passions and life experiences, while crediting his inspiration to music, the organic designs of nature and the beauty of women. Justin has shown work in major cities in the U.S. and is best known locally for his artwork inside Hotel Deco, his large College World Series live mural on the historical J.F. Bloom Building in Downtown Omaha and his sculpture ‘Orpheus’ commissioned by the Omaha Performing Arts Society for Susie Buffet. Justin’s inspired designs and vibrant energy are the hallmarks of his unique work and help make all of the White Lotus Group properties one-of-a-kind. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his son Nation and wife Abby.
SARA CLAUSEN - VP of HOSPITALITY OPERATIONS
Sara has worked in hospitality management for over 20 years. Sara spent 10 of those years at Pair-A-Dice Properties, where she honed her hospitality management skills. She has been with White Lotus Group since 2010, acting as the Vice President of Operations for the Hospitality Division. Sara has four children, four grandchildren, and enjoys reading and gardening in her spare time.
AMBER ALLEN - PROPERTY MANAGER
As the property manager for White Lotus Group’s Timbercrest and Fontainebleau Apartments, Amber manages all aspects of the property including attracting and retaining residents. Previous to her time at White Lotus Group, Amber was a leasing agent with another local property management company. She was quickly promoted to an assistant manager position and promoted yet again to Manager in an even shorter time frame. Amber is currently finishing up getting her degrees in Business, graphic design and interior decorating. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and friends, read and do crafts.
ETHAN BONDELID - LIFESTYLE BRANDS MANAGER
Ethan is the epitome of the word ‘entrepreneur’. A well-known and respected force in the Omaha community, Ethan is responsible for starting up some truly creative businesses that run the gamut from hair salons to speak-easies. His creativity and vision can be seen in The Berry & Rye, Via Farina, Wicked Rabbit, Laka Lono, Victor Victoria Salon and Monarch Prime & Bar located in the historic Hotel Deco. As the Lifestyle Brands Manager at White Lotus Group, Ethan focuses on creating truly unique guest experiences within every project, while promoting creativity within the Greater Omaha Community.
APRIL KAISER - OFFICE MANAGER
As the office receptionist, April is the manager of first impressions. She brings years of experience to White Lotus Group, and helps keep the office running smoothly. Before her time at White Lotus Group, April worked as an office manager for a local cosmetic surgeon for 10 years and credits her time there with teaching her how to keep a constant open line of communication with all co-workers and clients. She loves meeting and getting to know new people while creating trust-filled relationships. She has three amazing boys and has volunteered at their schools for carnivals, read-a-thons/book fairs and she was also a boy scout leader. In her spare time she enjoys being with her children outdoors, playing baseball and football, and reading.
SUSHMA DEWAN - DIRECTOR OF SELF STORAGE
Sushma joined the White Lotus Group in 2003. Sushma heads the Armor Storage division, which has grown from four to eleven locations within the last few years. With the high standards set forth by Sushma, White Lotus Group plans to break ground on additional three storage facilities in Omaha in 2018. Her previous work experiences include business accounting and management, with a post graduate degree in Art. Sushma also enjoys volunteering the community, walking for exercise and spending time with family & friends.
