White Lotus Group was founded on a passion for the communities we serve. Long before philanthropy became a formal part of how we operate, it was the reason the company exists; a belief that real estate, done well, supports people and community. That passion continues to guide how we invest, develop, and give back today. Our goal is to convert our presence in our community into genuine, lasting influence; for the neighborhoods we build in, the tenants we serve, and the causes our own team cares about.

To us, giving back means creating impact that lasts for years, even generations. We believe that showing up for our community in the following ways makes a real difference for the people and places we call home. Health

We support organizations working to keep our neighbors healthy and cared for - in body, mind, and quality of life. From Special Spaces, which transforms bedrooms into dream spaces for children facing life-threatening illnesses, to Global Partners in Hope and Autism Action Partnership, we support work that expands access to care for families across our community.

Education & Youth

Education opens doors, and we invest in organizations helping young people walk through them; especially those facing systemic cycles and limited access to programs and opportunities. Partnership for Kids, the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands, and TeamMates Mentoring each pair children with the mentorship, resources, and encouragement they need to thrive, stay engaged in positive pursuits, and grow into young people who make life better for themselves and their community.

Community & Belonging

We are also proud to support the institutions and causes that hold our community together. From HELP Foundation’s programs including affordable housing and community services to the Omaha Public Library Foundation and the Omaha Symphony, these organizations build stability, spark connection, create a sense of belonging, and make Omaha feel like home for everyone.

Beyond the Donation

Our commitment to community extends into how we develop and do business. Projects like Liberty Campus (a residential community for seniors and veterans), 30-Metro (an affordable housing mixed-use project in North Omaha), and other adaptive-reuse developments across Nebraska and Iowa neighborhoods reflect the same philosophy that shapes our philanthropy: a strong community footprint should be as intentional as our development footprint.

Our Team

Giving back is personal to the people who make up White Lotus Group. Our organization supports team members who have a passion to give back through participation and volunteerism, including room-makeover days with Special Spaces to golf-outing volunteer shifts and community events. Many team members go further, serving on boards and taking part in programs with organizations like the Stephen Center, Knights of Columbus, Habitat for Humanity, and more. Every person at White Lotus Group is a brand ambassador for the community we're building, bringing time, energy, and expertise directly to the causes they care about.

Our Philanthropy Board

White Lotus Group's giving decisions are guided by a Philanthropy Board made up of team members from across the company, who volunteer their time to shape our giving strategy, vet partnership and sponsorship requests, and plan volunteer opportunities for the wider team. The Board meets quarterly and evaluates every request against our three focus areas, asking whether it aligns with our mission, supports our community, and creates a measurable, lasting impact. This ensures our support stays intentional, consistent, and meaningful.
